Jean John will be joining (on drums) the incredible Jazz Loft Stony Brook Big Band under the leadership of Tom Manuel and featuring Oliver Nelson Jr. (son of the legendary Oliver Nelson) for a very special night presenting Oliver Nelson’s Afro American Sketches and Jazzhattan suite. The repertoire will feature some of the music from Oliver Nelson which had never been released and very rarely performed!
